What happens if it rains?
Woodbury Days is a rain or shine event!
The Woodbury Police Department has command officers in Ojibway Park during Woodbury Days who assist our event leaders in making decisions to keep visitors safe. This includes monitoring weather conditions.
The Carnival Rides are monitored by the on-site carnival manager who is contracted by Woodbury Days to provide rides at our event. It is up to the management of the Carnival if rides will continue in the rain or if they need to be shut down for safety.
Musicians and their management decide if it is safe to perform in the open bandshell at Woodbury Days. Rain is generally acceptable, however the threat of lightning is primarily deemed not safe with the extensive electrical systems used by bands.
Please keep in mind Woodbury Days has many fun attractions located under tents including the Taste of Woodbury, BINGO and the Beer tent (must be 21+ to enter the beer tent!).
